Hi, we’re Lora and Gabby, a mother–daughter duo with deep Sicilian roots and also the founders of Savoring Italy. Lora’s father was born in Sicily, and we grew up surrounded by the traditions, food, and stories of the island. With Savoring Sicily, we share our love for this incredible place through curated travel guides, family stories, and authentic Sicilian recipes.

Lora divides her time between Palm Beach and Italy, always returning to her family home in Sicily. She started writing online back in 2010 as a way to document family recipes, memories, and traditions.

What began as a personal project has now grown into a true family business. Gabby, based in Barcelona, brings the brand to life through photography, web design, storytelling, and marketing. Together, we’ve turned our passion into a space where Sicily’s culture, food, and beauty are celebrated.
